Yoga instructor for a
flexible mind and stronger body

I am a trauma-informed registered 500-hour Yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance.

I work with yoga studios, on-site with First Responders, and in schools with children, tweens and teens in the NJ/NY metro area.

I’m available for individual, group or corporate wellness instruction. My cheerful approach to attaining physical and mental resilience welcomes new and experienced yogis alike.

Training

I have completed my Yoga Teacher Training with Be Well Integrated Health Services, under the direction of Marisa Sweeney, Tisha Giangiordano and Cindy Chiariello.

• 2025: 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher certification

• 2024: Yin Yoga Certification

• 2022: 200-hr Yoga Teacher certification

Be Well Academy’s training programs emphasizes anatomy, accessibility, the subtle body, breathwork, meditation, myofascial release, somatic relaxation techniques, neuromechanics and Yogic Tantra philosophy.

First Responders

My work with First Responders began in 2024, learning from Shannon McGuire of FireFlex Yoga, and David Cohen, yoga instructor for the Secret Service. Through research and interviews with intructors, first reponders, and hands-on time observing the Morristown, NJ Fire Department during ride-alongs and drills, I’ve developed a practice that augments their existing workout routines, builds interoception, and strengthens breathwork to regulate stress.

Meditation

From 1998-2000, I studied Open FocusⓇ meditation and attention techniques under the guidance of Les Fehmi, PhD at The Princeton Biofeedback Centre. Open FocusⓇ is a practical and effective method for reducing stress-related symptoms and enhancing well-being, using principles developed in the field of biofeedback.

I turned to hatha yoga and meditation to help heal from chronic illnesses over 20 years ago. I hope to help guide individuals in their journey toward improved wellness, strength and balance.
